Virtual Drive Creator 2.1.4
Publisher's Description:
Virtual Drive Creator - Create Virtual Drives from long paths, it's easy! Type the full path or (even easier) browse to the path via the Drive and Folder Lists. Choose a drive letter from the "Available Virtual Drive Letters" list and Click [Add Virtual Drive] to create the Virtual Drive, or Double Click the letter to create the Virtual Drive. It's just as easy to remove a Virtual Drive, Double Click the letter you want removed as a Virtual Drive or Click the letter and then Click [Remove Virtual Drive]. Make CD-ROMs obsolete: Copy the contents of a CD-ROM to a folder, not the root directory, on your Hard Drive. Make that folder a Virtual Drive (see paragraph above), then install the Virtual CD from the Virtual Drive letter. Click Start, Run and in the space provided type L:\setup or L:\install (substitute your Virtual Drive letter for L and see the documentation that came with your CD-ROM for the proper installation command). Now every time you need to access the CD you can use the Virtual CD from your hard drive. Be sure to make note of the Virtual Drive letter you used to create the Virtual CD, when you reboot your computer you will need to re-create the Virtual Drive using the same letter. (With the Pro Version of Virtual Drive Creator you can make your Virtual Drives Permanent!)

Its a cool program for virtual drive control, its one of the best *freeware* on the net. The only thing i don't like is the menu, I use WinXpPro SP2 and when i open the menu i doesn't closes auto like it sould. For the rest its excellent. I recommend it to everyone!

Must remount drives each time
This is the single drawback I have found - the program does not retain the mounting set for each virtual drive. I use this for my daughters games, and I have to manually reset this every time the computer is turned off or on. Not worth it.

Opinion
I would like to create a Clubsafechat.com virtual website where kids can interact with other kids all around the world! This website would be a safe way to create your own life, before your real future plans actually happen! This would be a great way to show kids life problems on what will happen in the future. Thanks for reading, and thanks for your time.
 VDC and Rosetta Stone

VDC does what it says it will
VDC creates virtual drives, as advertised, but didn't solve my problem. Version 2 of Rosetta Stone has code that only works off of the original language DVD. Copying to the hard drive won't work. The new version (3) removes this restriction, but also means one doesn't need VDC.
